The survey on CBD (Cannabidiol) usage to date found that women were more likely than men to use CBD. They were likely to drop their traditional medicine as well. The survey from Brightfield Group and HelloMD covered 2,400 of HelloMD’s community of 150,000 members and did a thorough study into CBD product usage and their effectiveness.
Key findings:
- CBD is most commonly used to treat insomnia, depression, anxiety, and joint pain.
- 42 percent of CBD users stopped using traditional medications and now use cannabis instead.
- 80 percent of CBD users found CBD be very or extremely effective for treatment.
- 90 percent of those surveyed said they would buy CBD-only products derived from marijuana.
They found that the most common reasons people use CBD were to treat anxiety, insomnia, depression, and joint pain.
